Trigram
HeavenQián 乾
Three solid lines: yang energy in its purest form. Qian is the image of heaven moving without pause. It stands for creative force, initiative, leadership and endurance. In a hexagram it often signals strength that needs direction, or a situation that calls for steady, principled effort rather than force.
